Dare to Dream

About the book

This is a story of how one man’s dream fueled a legacy journey of love and opportunities of a lifetime for inner City youth in his South Bronx Community. About the book: When Jerry King was a young boy, he witnessed a man riding a unicycle on the highwire for the very first time at the circus. He longed to ride a unicycle but instead taught his son and neighborhood kids how to ride. This story introduces how the legendary world renown King Charles Troupe began.

About the Troupe: The King Charles Troupe was the first black act in Ringling Brothers, Barnum, and Bailey Circus history. They are also the longest-running act to ever perform with the circus.
